The Tree of Life, an engraving by Athanasius Kircher, published in his Œdipus Ægyptiacus in 1652. The basic structure of sephirot and links has since become the most common variant of the Tree used in Hermetic Qabalah.

Kabbalah is an esoteric method, discipline, and school of thought in Jewish mysticism. It is also used by western occult and mystery schools for the practice of Magick and the great work, as well as a useful tool for mapping states of consciousness.
