Vintage Stingray Poster Print by John Edward Gray 1829
John Edward Gray, (12 February 1700 to 7 March 1875) was a British zoologist. He was the elder brother of zoologist George Robert Gray and son of the pharmacologist and botanist Samuel Frederick Gray.
He illustrated many animals in the book "indian zoology". This is the stingray illustrated in that antique book circa 1829.
