We really enjoyed creating this piece - researching the beauty and symbolism behind traditional Ukiyo-e Japanese woodblock prints was a joy in itself. We’ve always been drawn to the serene, peaceful nature of classic Japanese art, and this fall / autumn waterfall scene reflects that calm energy. Inspired by masters like Hokusai, Hiroshige, and Kawase Hasui, it took time to study their flowing lines, natural textures, and the way they captured seasons in motion. This artwork blends those traditional elements with a fresh modern twist—offering a peaceful, fall / autumn-toned tribute to the timeless Japanese aesthetic.
